Courses start at $20 Concession and $30 Non-concession for government-funded students and are delivered at various centres across Wyndham. However, during the current COVID-19 period we are offering classes online and free of charge for eligible participants. To be eligible for funding participants need to be either an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. If you are not sure of your eligibility status please contact the main office.

People who are interested in any of our short courses, but are not an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident can still enrol but will need to pay a different fee amount. Call the main office on 9742 4013 for more information about these fees.


Advanced Excel


Course designed for those who already know the basics of Excel and who want to build on and extend their skills and knowledge.

All Sewn Up - Advanced Sewing Course


This is an advanced level course which follows on from the “Next Stitch" course. Students enrolling in the course will already know how to use a basic sewing machine and overlocker.

Better Reading and Writing


This course is designed for people who wish to improve their reading and writing in English in small classes in a relaxed environment.

Computer Skills - Advanced


This course is designed for students who have completed the introduction (First Steps) and intermediate (Next Steps) levels of Computer Skills. It is for students who wish to build on and extend their knowledge and skills.

Computer Skills - First Steps


This course is for absolute beginners. This course covers basic computer skills to get you started.

Computer Skills - Mobile Devices


This is a 10 weeks course for people who are absolute beginners when it comes to using a smart device.

Computer Skills - Next Steps


This course is designed for people who have basic computer skills or as a follow on for students who have completed the “First Steps” course. The course provides an introduction to Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Conversation Skills


This course if for people with limited language skills who want to learn how to participate in simple, casual conversations and learn more vocabulary in order to converse with more confidence in daily life.

Conversational English Language Skills


This course is intended for people who wish to improve their spoken English and grammar through conversation in a relaxed environment. You will learn to express yourself clearly and use everyday expressions to deal with daily conversations.

Intermediate Excel


This course is designed as a follow up for people who have completed the introductory excel course and wish to consolidate their skills before enrolling in an advanced level class.

Introduction to Excel


This course provides an introduction to Microsoft Excel and will give students a working knowledge of how to use Microsoft Excel.

Introduction to MYOB


This course is a practical hands-on course designed to teach students about the computerised accounting package MYOB. This course includes using the new online version of MYOB and working from a textbook.

LEAP Alterations


LEAP Digital Literacy for Remote Learners


Course designed for those who already have basic computer skills but who wish to learn how to access courses and virtual platforms for social and/or work purposes.

LEAP Upcycling


This is a short course for people who know how to use sewing machines and overlockers and are looking for an entry in the up-cycling industry. The course focuses on giving well - loved clothing a new lease on life.

Manual Bookkeeping


This course is an introduction to bookkeeping. It is suitable for people wanting to start their own business or who wish to start working in a finance related field.

Next Stitch - Intermediate Sewing Class


This is an intermediate level sewing course which assumes some basic knowledge about using machines. 

Skills for Work


This is a short course for people who are looking for a job, wish to know how to prepare applications, apply for vacancies and navigate the interview process.

So and Sew - Introduction to the Textile Industry


This is an introductory course for people wishing to learn how to sew in a fun and engaging way.

Webpage Design


This is a short course for people who are confident computer users and would like to learn how to develop their own website for personal or work purposes.
